Today I am again reminded of the wonderful folks that I meet while I work on Laurent's life. A while back I decided that it would be great to bring all he artist representations of Laurent into a virtual gallery for all to visit. So Artplacer is a great application that does just that.
Any time I find an artist that does some Clerc Art, I contact them and try to get permission to hang their work in the gallery. A Deaf artist, Chuck Baird is one such person. While I can't converse with him as he has sadly passed in 2012, I was able to get in touch with James, who owns the rights to his work. James did not have to give permission to display Chuck's work but he became another reason why it is so enjoyable to do this work. He readily agreed and wished to promote his friend's art to everyone. Thank you, James.Â
