Francis Joseph Clerc DD

Here is a short tidbit that hopefully will be a larger and longer story. It is about Francis Joseph, Clerc who became a Episcopal minister and served all his life. I recently found some information about his first parish. Here is Francis throughout his life, a serious life it would appear. The one of him as a young man was I think at his graduation from Seminary.
Francis,Laurent and Eliza's eldest son’s career as a Episcopalian pastor was long and varied. Francis Graduated from the General Theological Seminary (where he was taught by Samuel Clement Moore of the "Twas the Night Before Christmas fame) and took his first position in the Grace Church Parish of Broad Brook in East Windsor, CT. The church was under the supervision of Rev. Thomas Brownell, DD and Bishop of the Episcopal Church in CT and also a close friend of Laurent Clerc.
