Was working on the website today and I came across an articles in the American Annuals of the Deaf and Dumb, October1874. It was written by a James Dension and was called "The Memory of Laurent Clerc". GU Press.
James was born in Royalton, VT, became hard of hearing at age 10, later graduated from the American School and became the principal of the Kendall School (GU.
He gave an address at the Clerc Memorial Dedication on September 9th, 1874. I wonder what it is that he had to say? Lets take a look.
